Effective efficiency
The Golf GTD is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged TDI engine with common rail technology - injecting precise amounts of fuel at exceedingly high pressure. The result is a cleaner burning engine that delivers 125kW of power and 350Nm of torque, accelerating 0-100km/h in 8.1 seconds. Thanks to its diesel particulate filter, it delivers lower CO ² emissions, and fuel consumption of 5.5.L per 100km (6 speed manual gearbox) or 5.8L per 100km (optional 6 speed Direct Shift Gearbox). Now that’s efficient.

Integrated safety
The GTD’s safety system works as a whole to protect you and your passengers in the event of an accident. If you encounter a dangerous situation, the GTD’s intelligent safety systems (such as Electronic Stabilisation Program, Brake Assist and Extended Electronic Differential Lock) help you to keep in control. And if an accident does unfortunately occur, you and your passengers are protected by its 7 airbags (driver and front passenger, driver’s knee, front side, and front and rear curtain), plus the secure passenger safety cell.

Turn heads with the Golf GTD’s agile form and features. Athletic, muscular lines contour the body, with its wide sills in black finish, GTD body coloured bumpers and exposed chrome exhaust pipes. While performance-style touches highlight throughout, including the GTD black honeycomb grille, large rear spoiler and 17” Seattle alloy wheels.

Creature comforts
Surround yourself with the accommodating features in the GTD. As you sit in the Jacky upholstered GTD sports seats (with height and lumbar adjustment), run your hands over the chrome-plated gearshift knob and multi-function leather steering wheel, with optional DSG gearshift paddles. Innovative technology is always at your fingertips like the RCD510 entertainment system with 6 disc CD player, 61/2" touch screen, MP3 compatibility, SD card slot, auxiliary input and 8 front and rear speakers.
